Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amis Pelle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rau Utu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That has opened up Rau Utu's cut even more.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pelle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Utu moves away.

Pelle takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Utu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

No joy there for Utu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The cut above Rau Utu's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Utu is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Pelle had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Utu throws the left hand but Pelle avoids the punch easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Amis Pelle will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Rau Utu's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rau Utu's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
