Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rob Piroozshad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Del Rio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Rio lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Nice body punch from Del Rio.
Del Rio fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Piroozshad manages to avoid it.
Del Rio scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Piroozshad needs to keep his hands up - Del Rio had a free shot at his head there.
A jab from Del Rio does it's job there.
Del Rio swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Piroozshad.
Piroozshad takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Del Rio scores with a hook to the body. Piroozshad takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Piroozshad takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Piroozshad takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Del Rio looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Del Rio tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Piroozshad was well out of range. Poor timing from Del Rio.
Del Rio digs a good body shot into Piroozshad's ribs.
Del Rio throws a low kick but Piroozshad moves out of range easily.
Piroozshad feinted with a counter takedown.

Piroozshad avoids the head kick by Del Rio.
Del Rio throws a half hearted mid kick.
Piroozshad attempts a counter takedown but Del Rio avoids it well and moves away.
Piroozshad missing with a left hand there. Del Rio was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Del Rio is looking to chop away at Piroozshad's legs.
Del Rio lands a really nice looking cross but Piroozshad seems unphased.
Piroozshad walks into a straight right hand from Del Rio.
Del Rio throws a leg kick

and Piroozshad counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Piroozshad trying to control the position from guard on top but Del Rio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Del Rio had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Piroozshad defends it easily.
Piroozshad has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Piroozshad with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Del Rio is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Piroozshad knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Del Rio on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Del Rio not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Piroozshad looking to improve position, pressing down on Del Rio's thigh with his hand. Del Rio seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Piroozshad paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Piroozshad's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Del Rio picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!

A less than humble Matt Del Rio misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
