Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddie Adam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Vadeli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Freddie Adam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fedor Vadeli!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adam tries a head kick but it misses.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Vadeli has eaten all the pies!

Vadeli clinches with his opponent.
Adam tries to pull guard but Vadeli won't allow it.
Vadeli throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Vadeli lands a body punch.
Adam definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Vadeli pulls guard.

Vadeli isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Adam stacks Vadeli on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Adam!
Vadeli is trying to control Adam's posture but Adam avoids it.
Adam trying to control the action but Vadeli is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vadeli trying to control but Adam flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Vadeli really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adam. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vadeli trying to control but not successfully.
Vadeli is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Adam off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Adam. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!


It looks like Fedor Vadeli has been cut.
Vadeli tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Adam tries to control but Vadeli wriggling away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vadeli is trying to escape the mount.
Adam scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Vadeli?
Vadeli keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Adam fails to move to back control.
Adam sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Adam wants to control the pace but Vadeli is squirming around nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vadeli gets back to half guard.
Adam wants to control but Vadeli is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vadeli looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Adam pushes past his half guard into mount!
Adam trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Vadeli tries to reverse the position but Adam maintains control.
Adam lands a big shot there that rocks Vadeli but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.


That has opened up Fedor Vadeli's cut even more.
Adam wants to control the pace but Vadeli is squirming around nicely.
Vadeli wants to control but Adam is having none of it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Vadeli can't escape the position.
Adam trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Adam scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Vadeli?


Fedor Vadeli's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Fedor Vadeli's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Freddie Adam!
An out of breath Freddie Adam thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
