PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Noon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noon is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Black avoids it really well and circles away.
Noon is breathing heavily.

Black decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Black looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Black cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Black has hold of Noon's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Noon manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Noon is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.

Black clinches up with Noon and pushes him back against the cage.

Black jumps guard and drags Noon to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Black has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Noon! Can he survive? No! He's out! Black gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
