Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Herring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Arthur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arthur shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Herring manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Herring wants to get back to his feet but Arthur passes into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Arthur stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Herring to get to his feet.
Herring throws a one two combo.
Arthur clinches up against the cage.
Herring tries to break free but Arthur pushes him back against the cage.
Herring pulls guard effortlessly.
Arthur pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Herring is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Arthur with a flurry of punches that miss.

Arthur drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Herring dives on top into guard.

Arthur is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Arthur decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Arthur is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Herring still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Herring has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Herring decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Arthur drives through with a takedown into Herring's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Arthur fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Herring sprawls well initially but Arthur persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

A frustrated look appears on Herring's face as he tries to break the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Herring shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Arthur as he jumps to the side.
Arthur is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Herring really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Arthur has hold of one of Herring's legs. Herring is fighting the takedown attempt but Arthur gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Arthur accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Arthur forces Herring back against the cage and clinches.
Herring tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Arthur smiles and moves away.

Herring regains half guard there - taking advantage of Arthur's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Herring is refusing to be controlled, as Arthur sits in half guard.
