Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Benny Perez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Swebsik Swebster!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez dodges the punch combination from Swebster.
Swebster is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Perez's half guard.
Swebster seems to be looking for submissions.
Swebster looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Swebster is pressing down on Perez's thigh, looking to free his foot. Perez is holding on for now.
Swebster takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Swebster swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Perez is now in Swebster's guard. A big mistake from Swebster there, giving up the dominant position!

Swebster throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Perez was covering up waiting for the punch and Swebster finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
