The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bean has a takedown stuffed.

Bean clinches with his opponent.

Bean has picked McGregor up - he's going for a ride! Bean dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
McGregor tries to get to full guard but Bean has control of the leg.

Bean is working for a submission of some sort.
Bean tries to pass the half guard into mount. McGregor knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McGregor looks to land a combination but Bean avoids it well.
Bean looks for a takedown but McGregor sprawls well.
Conor McGregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Conor McGregor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toga Bean.

Bean closes the distance and clinches.
McGregor on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Bean manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McGregor manages to get himself to full guard.

McGregor is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Bean has his hands clasped together but McGregor extends and breaks Bean's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by McGregor.
