Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kassius Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hayden Easterly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo fails with the takedown.

Easterly has Halo up against the cage in a clinch.
Halo tries to pull guard but Easterly forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Easterly gets control of Halo's arms and successfully pulls guard. Easterly will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Halo lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Halo's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Halo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Easterly keeping moving, preventing Halo from controlling successfully.
Easterly is trying to control the position but Halo postures up.

Easterly is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Halo pulls his head out easily.
Easterly is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Easterly told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Halo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Easterly is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Halo scores with a couple of nice shots.

It looks like Hayden Easterly has been cut.
Easterly trying to hold on to Halo's head to control him but Halo postures up.
Easterly is staying active underneath Halo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Easterly is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Halo pulls his head out easily.
Halo landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Halo is trying to control. Easterly wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Easterly has hold of Halo's hands but Halo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

That has opened up Hayden Easterly's cut even more.
Easterly on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Easterly trying to hold on to Halo's head to control him but Halo postures up.
Easterly won't allow Halo to pass to mount.

Halo is working for a kimura but Easterly is defending it quite comfortably.
Halo lands with a punch from half guard.

The cut above Hayden Easterly's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Easterly wants to improve his position but Halo is controlling well.

Hayden Easterly's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hayden Easterly's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
