Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Douche Canoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leif Erikson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erikson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Into Battle by Ensiferum. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Leif Erikson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Bruno Hogan and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canoe looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Canoe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Erikson has hold of Canoe's hands but Canoe slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Canoe lands a nice short elbow.
Canoe looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Erikson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Canoe connects with a nice short shot to Erikson 's temple.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Erikson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Canoe lands a big elbow - Erikson is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Canoe!

Douche Canoe decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Leif Erikson was interviewed post fight and said 'I will now rape and pillage!'.
