Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joey James!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James lands the left hand.
Styme swinging wildly here.
Styme moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
James fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that James has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Styme throws a combination but it was largely blocked by James.
James is looking for the big counter here.
James lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A head kick misses from Styme.
James dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Styme misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Styme tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
James unleashes a big counter combination but Styme bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

and James counters with a nice body shot.
Styme is breathing heavily.
James throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Styme stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
James fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
James scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
James is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

James fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Styme takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Styme is rocked!
James connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Styme's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Styme - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
