Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raja Ohri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ohri's choice of entrance music: The Next Episode. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lucas Hood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raja Ohri!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ohri fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hood to the ground. Ohri is now in Hood's guard.
Ohri is in close to Hood's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hood is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ohri is controlling him.
Ohri controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Ohri postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ohri working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Ohri lands a couple of digs.
Hood wants to stand and escape but Ohri is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ohri has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hood knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ohri on the ground.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ohri stands up over Hood, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Ohri drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Ohri as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Hood screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Ohri! Nice submission victory there!
