Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kory Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wazza The Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kory Price has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kory Price!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wazza The Kid!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Kid lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The Kid tries to score a power double leg takedown but Price sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten The Kid somewhat.
Price tried to counter with a leg kick but The Kid avoided it.

Price shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Price showed some decent athleticism there.
The Kid is trying to escape back to his feet but Price uses the scramble to pass into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The Kid looks to move to half guard but instead Price has passed into mount! Damn!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Price takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Price has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The Kid wants to hold on but Price pushes him away.
The Kid is desperately trying to improve his position but Price has a good base and remains in mount.

Price tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The Kid is working to get back to half guard.
Price takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Price is landing with some decent strikes but The Kid is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Price shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in The Kid's guard.
The Kid wants to get back to his feet but Price passes into half guard.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Price lands a nice short elbow.
Price not doing much here.
The Kid flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Well, if Price is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kory Price overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Price seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down The Kid for as long as he can get away with.

Price takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Price closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The Kid is looking to get back to is feet but Price passes into side control.
Price really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The Kid tries to control but Price manages to take his back.

Price has The Kid flattened out and is raining down punches.

Price trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure The Kid doesn't escape.
You can see the frustration on The Kid's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Price is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

Price is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that The Kid can do to turn this around?

Price closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. The Kid did well to prevent Price getting side control.
The Kid pushes Price off but Price dives into side control.
Price staying calm.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Price is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but The Kid is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The Kid is looking to regain half guard here but Price keeps moving and retains side control.
Price working the head with strikes.
The Kid seems a little lost for a moment, as Price dominates the positioning.

Price stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Some bone on bone action there as The Kid checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
The Kid changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Price blocks the body kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The Kid lands a head kick!

The Kid closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Price has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics The Kid uses from the top position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Price is on top in guard.

Price's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Price might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Price won't allow The Kid to get back to his feet.

The Kid is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Price controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Price continues to stall.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The Kid is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Price stays in close to The Kid's body and controls the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Price misses with a body shot.

The Kid tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Price defends well and The Kid ends up having to push Price into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Wazza The Kid has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kory Price is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Price, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
