Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Douglas kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Go For a Soda by Kim Mitchell. Escobar has chosen KoRn En Vivo Mtv as his entrance music. Jack Douglas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Douglas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pablo Escobar!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Douglas.
It looked like Douglas wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Escobar has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Douglas cracks the inside of Escobar's front leg.
Douglas throws a head kick that half lands.


It looks like Pablo Escobar has been cut.

Escobar shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Douglas is trying to defend but Escobar finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Escobar wants to free his trapped foot but Douglas is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Escobar has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Escobar swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Douglas is now in Escobar's guard. A big mistake from Escobar there, giving up the dominant position!
Douglas lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Escobar is trying to maintain the position but Douglas is very close to passing his half guard.
Douglas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Douglas is trying to control the action in half guard but Escobar is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Escobar wants to improve his position but Douglas is controlling well.

Douglas is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Douglas is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Douglas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Escobar keeps working.
Escobar tries to roll over but Douglas keeps him under control.
Escobar is looking to control Douglas's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Escobar avoid being mounted?

Escobar is looking for a sweep. Douglas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Escobar is staying active underneath Douglas, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Douglas will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Escobar takes a swing at Douglas's ribcage but misses.
Escobar looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Douglas scores with a punch to the head.
Douglas takes a jab right on the kisser.
Douglas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Douglas lands a nice looking kick to the body. Escobar takes a step back to recover.
Escobar pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Douglas loads up on a big right hand but Escobar slips the punch.
Douglas is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Escobar can do to turn this around?
Douglas lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.


Escobar is rocked!
Douglas scores with a spinning back kick!
Douglas throws a nice inside leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Escobar looks to score with a jab to the body but Douglas is just out of range.
Douglas is looking to counter punch.
Jack Douglas is winning the standup battle so far.
A cross from Douglas lands.
Escobar is still on wobbly legs! Can Douglas finish him?
Douglas jabs Escobar to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Escobar is breathing heavily.
Douglas lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Escobar up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Douglas from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Escobar's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack Douglas!
As Jack Douglas got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I am the greatest tactician. I am the greatest submission master. I am the greatest knock out artist. Behold, The War Master and all of my greatness.'.
