Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Hope Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronan Kiesling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hope Jr comes to the cage accompanied by Dmx The Rain. Ronan Kiesling told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kiesling gets a takedown into half guard.
Hope Jr tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Kiesling manages to move to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kiesling tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Kiesling has eaten all the pies!

Kiesling working for a submission but Hope Jr is keeping him at bay.
Kiesling takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Kiesling goes for an armbar but Hope Jr turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Hope Jr.

Kiesling pulls Hope Jr in close to prevent any damage.
Hope Jr has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kiesling is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kiesling looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
It looks like Kiesling might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
