The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaj lands a nice shot that snaps Scarn's head back.
A punch combination from Yaj misses.
Yaj with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Yaj ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Scarn moves away.
Scarn staying out of range there.

Nice uppercut lands for Scarn. That snapped Yaj's head back.

Scarn lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Nice defenses there by Yaj.
Yaj throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Scarn takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Yaj scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Scarn doesn't seem bothered though.
Yaj tries to bum rush Scarn with a series of wild strikes but Scarn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Yaj counters with a stiff right hand.
Yaj slips under a jab.
No joy there for Yaj, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yaj throws a series of punches but Scarn avoids them all with ease.

Yaj uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Scarn.
Scarn fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Michael Scarn has been cut.
Scarn throws a shot from downtown. Yaj moves away and avoids it.
It looked like Yaj was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Scarn.
Yaj moves away from the strike by Scarn.
Scarn waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Yaj.
Scarn looks to land a left hand but Yaj moved out of range nicely.
Scarn fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Scarn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yaj.
Scarn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Sloppy strikes from Scarn. Those never looked like landing.

Scarn might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Yaj is rocked!
Yaj drops his hands momentarily. Scarn doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Yaj staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Yaj doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

After the fight, Michael Scarn was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
