Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Phoenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cedrick Frederick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Simon Phoenix has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Simon Phoenix seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phoenix throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Frederick slips under a jab from Phoenix.
Frederick loads up on a big right hand but Phoenix slips the punch.
Good leg kick by Frederick there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Phoenix throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Phoenix throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Frederick counters with a good low kick that Phoenix was not able to check.
Frederick throws a wild body kick that Phoenix sees coming a mile off.
A decent looking cross lands there for Frederick.
Frederick throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Phoenix sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A head kick misses from Frederick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Phoenix.
Phoenix moves out of range of the body kick.
Phoenix dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Phoenix looks to score with a jab to the body but Frederick is just out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Frederick steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Phoenix.

Frederick lands a big head kick that sends Phoenix tumbling to the mat! Frederick takes a step backwards and waves Phoenix back to his feet - he wants the finish!
