Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnathon Bowen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Fernedez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Johnathon Bowen has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Johnathon Bowen seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernedez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bowen sprawls well. Bowen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fernedez gets slowly back to his feet.
Bowen is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Fernedez.
Fernedez throws a head kick but Bowen moves out of range.
As Fernedez tries to get set, Bowen tries to push him back and clinch up but Fernedez manages to avoid the attempt.
Bowen really is a fat lump.
Fernedez misses with a wild body shot.
Fernedez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Bowen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fernedez to the ground. Bowen is now in Fernedez's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bowen is working Fernedez over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Bowen chips away with some ground and pound.
Fernedez seems keen to control Bowen's posture.

Bowen postures up in Fernedez's guard and throws a big left but Fernedez blocks it.

Fernedez is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Bowen has his hands clasped together but Fernedez extends and breaks Bowen's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Fernedez.
