Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Predator Burns!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuller scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Fuller has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gym of the Gods in the buildup to the fight.
Fuller misses with an attempted mid kick.
Burns is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Fuller throws a looping overhand right but Burns ducks down to avoid it.

Burns clinches up with Fuller and pushes him back against the cage.
Fuller using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Burns has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Fuller tries to land knees in the clinch but Burns avoids the damage to the body.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Burns.
Burns blocking some punches.
Fuller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fuller tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Burns wants to take the fight to the mat but Fuller manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Burns on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Burns works on Fuller's body with a couple of short punches.
Fuller is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Fuller misses with a shot to the kidneys.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burns blocks an uppercut.
A short uppercut from Fuller.
Burns misses with a hook to the ribs.
A head punch on the inside from Fuller fails to land.
The referee calls for Burns to work.
Burns wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Fuller has him pressed against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Burns lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Burns softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Fuller is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Burns is keeping busy.

Burns stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Burns misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Fuller takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Fuller tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Burns avoids it.
Burns is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Burns escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Fuller fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Burns, pushing him back against the cage.
Burns is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fuller to keep the fight standing.
Fuller lands a hook that snaps the head of Burns backwards.
Fuller can't find room to land a body shot as Burns controls the action.
Fuller misses with a short punch on the inside.

Burns breaks from the clinch.
Fuller tries to clinch up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fuller moves in looking to clinch but Burns pushes him off.
Fuller pivots, looking for a leg kick but Burns is out of range and Fuller settles back down.
Burns tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Fuller takes the fight into the clinch.
Burns wants to stall.
Fuller tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Burns avoids it.

Burns has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Fuller uses from the top position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fuller throwing strikes but missing.
Fuller wants to stand but Burns has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Burns is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Fuller frees his head nicely. Oh but Burns has switched to an armbar! Fuller is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Predator Burns!
Predator Burns looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Thanks guys, I have worked hard and the Burns team got me back on track. I regret not starting my career with Bradley Burns and my family but now I'm home.'.
The defeated Chris Fuller had this to say: 'Well I gave it all I got, but I guess it wasn't good enough.'.
