The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starrk connects with a body shot that sends Jackson's belly button to the back.
Starrk rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Jackson gets tackled into the cage by Starrk. Starrk maintains the clinch.
Starrk throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jacksons head.

Starrk is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

We've been informed that Jackson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Starrk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jackson.
Starrk wants to clinch up but Jackson keeps it at a distance.
Coyote Starrk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
