Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jiaan Jatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jatt comes to the cage accompanied by Undead. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Demian Maia!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Jatt lands an impressive looking overhand right. Maia doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Demian Maia has been cut.
Maia shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jatt defends it nicely.
Nice body punch from Jatt.
Jatt pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jatt drops Maia with a left and a right! Oh, Maia is hurt - Jatt dives into side control looking to finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jatt tries to stand but Maia controls the position and pulls Jatt into his guard.
Maia looking for a guillotine here but Jatt defends easily.
Maia kicks Jatt off and gets to his feet.

Maia ducks under a wild hook from Jatt.
Maia displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jatt throws out the jab.

Maia avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Maia uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jatt has time to react.
Maia goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

and Jatt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A jab lands there for Jatt.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Maia scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Maia wants to work for an arm triangle but Jatt is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Jatt is staying active underneath Maia, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Maia decides to return to a standing position.
Maia tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jatt was well out of range. Poor timing from Maia.

Jatt looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

and Maia counters with a shoot takedown. Jatt fights it but they end up in guard.
Maia wants to control from the top but Jatt keeps moving.

Maia slips nicely into half guard.
Maia is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Jatt is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
