And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira misses with a left hand

and Lashley counters with a crisp one two that drops Oliveira! Lashley thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Oliveira to his feet! Oliveira is in big trouble!

Oliveira keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Oliveira drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lashley defends it well.
Lashley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Oliveira as he jumps to the side.
Oliveira only half commits to the counter leg kick.

Oliveira moves into the clinch.
Lashley trying to control the position but instead, Oliveira has worked for underhooks and has pushed Lashley into the cage.
Lashley is trying to drag Oliveira to the mat but Oliveira just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Lashley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oliveira bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lashley's guard.

Oliveira has hold of Lashley's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lashley seems comfortable defending it but Oliveira has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lashley is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lashley is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Oliveira couldn't care less - he's delighted!
