The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liness throws a head kick that half lands.
A big left from Galute misses.
Galute has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Galute there as he acknowledges the shot.

Liness tries to keep at a distance but Galute has taken the fight into the clinch.
Galute misses with a body punch.
Galute lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Galute lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Liness backwards.

It looks like Brue Liness has been cut.
Liness is working for takedown but Galute is calmly controlling the position for now.
Liness can't break the clinch.
Liness wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Galute has him pressed against the cage.
Liness blocks a body shot from Galute.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Galute lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
