Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randall Dudley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Marl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob Marl will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dudley has taken the fight to the clinch.
Marl avoiding damage as Dudley throws knees to the body.

Marl is trying to trip Dudley. He has hold of a leg but Dudley is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Marl persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Marl is working Dudley over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Marl is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Marl got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dudley has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marl has managed to get both his arms back between Dudley's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Marl might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Marl is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Dudley is striking off his back. Marl thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Dudley manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Marl slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Marl tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Dudley sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Marl perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Marl takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Marl maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Dudley could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Marl has cracked it and Dudley is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Marl!
