The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Tybura looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Tybura has taken the fight to the clinch.

Burns wants the takedown. Tybura is fighting it off but Burns persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Tybura's guard against the cage.
Tybura wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Burns manages to pass to side control.

Burns decides to stand and escape the position.
Burns lands with a slapping head kick.

Burns bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Burns stands up.

Burns pushes Tybura up against the cage in a clinch.

Burns lands a takedown into guard.

Burns stands and steps away. Tybura gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Burns chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Tybura clinches up against the cage.

Tybura breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tybura drives through and clinches with Burns against the cage.
Burns is stalling here.
Tybura swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Burns has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Tybura clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Tybura is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Burns is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Tybura is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Burns working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Tybura is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Burns has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Tybura taps out!
