Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ngolo Kantogo!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kantogo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ho misses with a left hand
and Kantogo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


It looks like Nam Ho has been cut.
Kantogo moves out of range of the strikes.
Ho misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kantogo.
Kantogo doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Ho throws a big shot that misses.
Kantogo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kantogo throws a right hand that Ho ducks under and follows up with a left that Ho also avoids with ease.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ho lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Nam Ho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ho definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ho paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kantogo throws a looping overhand right but Ho ducks down to avoid it.
Ho throws a lazy uppercut
and Kantogo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ho fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kantogo manages to avoid it.
Kantogo lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Ho throws a right hand that misses
and Kantogo counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ho misses with the combination.

No joy there for Kantogo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ho gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ho lands a right hand.
Ho digs a right hand into Kantogo's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kantogo's gas tank.
Kantogo swings wildly with an uppercut but Ho uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ho works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Kantogo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
We've been informed that Kantogo has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Ho fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kantogo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Ho throws out a loose jab but Kantogo uses good head movement to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kantogo seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Ho shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Kantogo is backing up but Ho catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Kantogo covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Ho Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
