Maxim Rovanov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Martin Holm's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rovanov falls off balance throwing a combination
and Holm counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Maxim Rovanov has been cut.
Rovanov throws a jab when Holm was well out of range.
Rovanov misses with a takedown
enabling Holm to counter with a crisp jab.
Rovanov misses with an uppercut.
Rovanov lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rovanov tries for a takedown but Holm circles away easily
and Holm counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rovanov has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maxim Rovanov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Holm throws out a counter right but Rovanov avoids it with no problem.
Rovanov moves to clinch but Holm breaks away

and Holm counters with a nice right hand that sends Rovanov toppling to the canvas! Rovanov scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Holm finish him?!

Rovanov is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Holm drops Rovanov with a straight right hand, right on the button! Holm follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
