The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Axe misses the jab.
Axe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Toskala.
Toskala throws a left and a right that both miss
and Axe counters with a stiff right hand.
Toskala looks to land a right hand but Axe moved out of range.
Toskala swats away the attempt to clinch by Axe.
Jukka Toskala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Toskala scores with a nice strike.
Axe blocks a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Axe seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
The fighters circling - Toskala throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Axe takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Axe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Axe looks to throw the jab but Toskala is out of range.
Axe avoids the head kick by Toskala.
Toskala throws a hook but Axe avoids it easily.
Axe was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Axe shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Toskala displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Axe throws out the jab.
Axe drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Jon Axe has been cut.

Toskala lands a jab to Axe's midsection.
Oh Axe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Axe avoids the head kick by Toskala.
Toskala lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Axe falls backwards - clearly groggy! Toskala dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
