Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Degrizz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anatoliy Lapikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Degrizz comes to the cage accompanied by Battle in prison. Lapikov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by AC/DC - Hells Bells . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Degrizz misses with the body kick

and Lapikov counters with a takedown into side control.
Degrizz manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Degrizz working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Lapikov is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Degrizz off and has taken his back!

Lapikov is trying to stick to Degrizz's back but Degrizz is turning into Lapikov. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Lapikov's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Degrizz.

Degrizz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Degrizz is looking to control the position but Lapikov frees his trapped leg and locks up an armbar from the bottom! It looks tight! Degrizz grimaces and holds on for a second but is forced to tap or have his arm broken! Slick Jiu Jitsu from Lapikov there - Degrizz really paying for some sloppy defensive work!

After winning the bout, Anatoliy Lapikov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
