The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowman looks to land a body kick but Harris moved away.

Bowman shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Harris pushes Bowman off and gets back to his feet.
Harris's coach down at White Lotus was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Harris's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Bowman circles away from the clinch attempt.

Bowman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Harris throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bowman was covering up waiting for the punch and Harris finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Harris tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bowman swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Harris is trying to drag Bowman to the mat but Bowman just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Bowman wants to stand back up but Harris manages to pass into side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Harris is trying to move to mount but Bowman reverses beautifully and ends up in Harris's guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Harris wants to hit a switch here but Bowman passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Harris there!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bowman swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Harris is now in Bowman's guard. A big mistake from Bowman there, giving up the dominant position!

Harris shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bowman pinned against the cage. Bowman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
As Harris looks to move away, Bowman throws a big counter combo but Harris just gets out of the way.
Harris shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bowman sprawls well. Bowman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Harris gets slowly back to his feet.

Harris scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Well, if Harris is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bowman is trying to maintain the position but Harris is very close to passing his half guard.
Harris controlling the pace.
Harris throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Harris wants to take a breather but Bowman is having none of it.

Harris is working for a kimura but Bowman is defending it quite comfortably.

Bowman has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Harris has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Bowman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Harris controls the pace.

Harris postures up in Bowman's guard and throws a big left but Bowman blocks it.
Harris would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Harris working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bowman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bowman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

I would just about give that final round to Ruarc Harris.
Well Bowman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ruarc Harris spoke after the fight, saying 'I lost this match because i had a injured heart you see someone ran over my dog earlier today. If it where not for that i would have kicked this guys ass.'.
