Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caiaphas Caine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Slade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Caine gets tackled into the cage by Slade. Slade maintains the clinch.
Slade working aggressively here.
Caine misses with a short punch on the inside.
Slade trying to control the position but instead, Caine has worked for underhooks and has pushed Slade into the cage.
Caine avoids a wild elbow strike from Slade.
Slade stalling the fight.
Slade creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Caine's defenses.

It looks like Caiaphas Caine has been cut.
Caine tries a body shot but Slade blocks it.
Caine has a couple of punches blocked by Slade.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Slade has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Caine has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Slade is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Caine fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Caine lands a body punch in the clinch.
Caine goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slade works on Caine's body with a couple of short punches.
Caine tries a body shot but Slade blocks it.

Slade is looking to break free of the clinch but Caine has double underhooks.

Caine tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Slade smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caiaphas Caine. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slade misses with a low kick.
Caine feinted with a counter takedown.
Caine moves into range and connects with a jab.

Caine is breathing heavily.
Caine takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Tyrone Slade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caine switches off momentarily and Slade cracks him with a monster right hand! Caine topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Slade dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Slade!
