The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhod connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Gele is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rhod.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rhod, as that shot connected.
Rhod scores with a shot to the body.

Gele tries to keep at a distance but Rhod has taken the fight into the clinch.
Rhod is leaning against Gele and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Gele takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gele tries to move into range but Rhod moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Rhod cracks Gele with a good jab.
Gele is still on wobbly legs! Can Rhod finish him?
Rhod's jab looks to have found its range, popping Gele under the eye.
Rudy Rhod is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gele seems to have recovered his senses.

Rhod fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gele on the side of the head.

Gele takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gele is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gele gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Rhod gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
