Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nick Tsuyoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanjay Dutt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dutt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tsuyoi was well out of range. Poor timing from Dutt.
Dutt fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
No joy there for Dutt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dutt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tsuyoi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Tsuyoi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Dutt manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Dutt throws a sloppy head kick and Tsuyoi moves out of range easily.
Dutt tries to land a front kick but Tsuyoi steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Dutt throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Tsuyoi forces his way into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round but I would say that Nick Tsuyoi will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Tsuyoi slaps away a takedown attempt from Dutt, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dutt shoots in looking for a takedown. Tsuyoi tries to sprawl out of it but Dutt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tsuyoi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tsuyoi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dutt's waist but Dutt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tsuyoi off to one side.
Tsuyoi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dutt. That did some damage!
Dutt tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A quick step to the side and Tsuyoi tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dutt shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tsuyoi defends it nicely.

Tsuyoi lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Tsuyoi misses with a takedown attempt - Dutt sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dutt takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Tsuyoi sneaks out the side door and pushes Dutt away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

A slapping body kick lands there for Tsuyoi.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Horrible takedown attempt by Tsuyoi or perhaps it was just good defense by Dutt, which made it look bad.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tsuyoi shoots in but no luck this time.
