Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Markus Cunningham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges Georges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Georges Georges told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cunningham has closed the distance and engaged Georges in a clinch.

Georges is fighting off a takedown attempt but Cunningham is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Georges to the mat. Georges regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Cunningham might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Cunningham drops back looking for a leg! Georges is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Georges manages to kick Cunningham off! Cunningham jumps back into Georges's guard.

Cunningham has his foot on Georges's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Georges works his way back into a safe position though.

Georges tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cunningham swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Cunningham wants the takedown. Georges is fighting it off but Cunningham persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Georges's guard against the cage.
