Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Texas Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nuke Laloosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Texas Pete!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nuke Laloosh!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Pete.
Laloosh takes one to the chin there.


It looks like Nuke Laloosh has been cut.
Pete misses with a body kick.
Laloosh fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Pete stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Laloosh throws a lazy uppercut
letting Pete counter with a right hand.
Laloosh avoids the head kick by Pete.
Pete fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Laloosh looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Pete takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A nice inside leg kick there by Laloosh. That's going to slow Pete down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pete blocks a leg kick.
The crowd cheers as Pete lands an impressive looking overhand right. Laloosh doesn't seem phased though.
Laloosh on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Laloosh lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Laloosh misses with a lunging right hand
and Pete counters with a body kick that stops Laloosh in his tracks momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters circling - Laloosh throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Laloosh tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pete manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Pete wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Pete checks the leg kick.
Pete feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Laloosh misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pete.
We've been told by Pete's head coaches at LOD-Guts & Glory Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Laloosh thumps Pete with a low kick.
Pete lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Pete connects with a solid leg kick.
Pete looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Laloosh throws a low kick but it's checked well by Pete.
Pete connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Laloosh throws a sloppy head kick and Pete moves out of range easily.
Pete swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Laloosh shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Pete tried to counter with a leg kick but Laloosh avoided it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pete throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Laloosh throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Pete counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Pete fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Pete uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Laloosh.
Laloosh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pete blocks a head kick by Laloosh.
Pete scores with a kick to the body.
Laloosh defending well as Pete loads up on a big left hand.
Laloosh throws a lazy right hand but Pete sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Laloosh lands with a hook. Pete tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Pete comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Laloosh tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Laloosh throws a leg kick but Pete checks it.
Pete fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Laloosh has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Pete moves out of range as Laloosh throws a body kick.
Laloosh throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Laloosh throws a leg kick but Pete sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Laloosh tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pete swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pete tests Laloosh's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Laloosh moves out of range of the body kick from Pete.
Laloosh's jab looks to have found its range, popping Pete under the eye.
Pete lands a brutal head kick. Laloosh looks out on his feet and Pete throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Texas Pete!
