The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick from Harper.
Lamar Harper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Harper shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Harper wants to control from the top but Mizer keeps moving.
Mizer lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Harper is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harper is controlling Mizer's posture.
Mizer not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mizer loads up on a big left hand. Harper felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Mizer looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Harper can't hide his disappointment, as Mizer celebrates the victory.
