McCarthy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Matsuoka circles away quickly and effectively.

McCarthy needs to keep his hands up - Matsuoka had a free shot at his head there.
Matsuoka tests McCarthy's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Matsuoka throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McCarthy sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Whack! Matsuoka lands a heavy head kick that drops McCarthy. The ref tackles Matsuoka to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because McCarthy was done.

After the fight, Hiroki Matsuoka was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
