The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams throws a lazy right hand but Gartola sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gartola lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Williams at a distance.

Gartola tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Williams defends well and Gartola ends up having to push Williams into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Williams tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Williams has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
