The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davenport throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dragonov tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Davenport closes the distance and pushes Dragonov back into the cage.
Dragonov blocks an elbow strike.
Dragonov manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Davenport cracks Dragonov with a solid left hand.
Dragonov wants to stand and escape but Davenport is having none of it.
Davenport might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dragonov looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Davenport puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Davenport has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Davenport looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dragonov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Davenport seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Dragonov is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
