Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leopoldo Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Tybura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcin Tybura looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tybura looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Ray escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tybura tries to clinch but Ray is having none of it.
Ray is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Tybura.
Tybura is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Tybura is looking to clinch but Ray is avoiding it.
Tybura walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Marcin Tybura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ray tries to keep at a distance but Tybura has taken the fight into the clinch.
Tybura lands with a left to the head.
Ray really is a fat lump.
Tybura misses with some punches.
Tybura is trying to break free.

Ray breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ray swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ray swats away the attempt to clinch by Tybura.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ray tries to keep at a distance but Tybura has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ray lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Ray just leaning against Tybura, taking a breather.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Ray.

Ray drags the fight down to the ground.
Ray is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Ray looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tybura is one step ahead there.
Ray is looking to stand up but Tybura isn't so interested in that idea.
Tybura takes a decent strike to the side of the head.

Ray has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ray pushes Tybura off and scrambles back to his feet.

Ray darts in and clinches Tybura up against the cage.

Ray successfully pulls guard.
Ray manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tybura manages to get himself to full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tybura can do anything to dispel that myth.

Ray prevents Tybura from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ray engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Tybura is looking to stand up but Ray isn't so interested in that idea.

Ray controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ray, right into the meat.

Ray clinches with his opponent.

Ray jumps guard and drags Tybura to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Tybura is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ray has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Tybura is looking to defend but Ray has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Tybura! Ray pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Tybura taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Leopoldo Ray!
