The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rection looks to score with a jab to the body but MacGregor is just out of range.
Rection is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Rection has MacGregor up against the ropes in a clinch.
Rection throws a punch but it's blocked by MacGregor.
Rection avoids a wild elbow strike from MacGregor.
A head punch on the inside from Rection fails to land.
Rection cracks MacGregor with a nice body shot.
Rection swings wildly with an uppercut but MacGregor uses good head movement to avoid it.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Rection as MacGregor tries to tie him up.
MacGregor wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
MacGregor is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Rection is keeping busy.
With the fighters up against the ropes, MacGregor throws an elbow but misses.

Rection has MacGregor pressed against the ropes, preventing MacGregor from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Rection gets through MacGregor's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
MacGregor fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
MacGregor wants to get back to striking at distance but Rection won't allow it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Rection pushes MacGregor back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Rection digs a right hand underneath MacGregor's ribcage. MacGregor let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Rection lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
MacGregor wants to break the clinch but can't.
MacGregor has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rection lands a hook to the side of the head.

MacGregor is rocked!

It looks like Konor MacGregor has been cut.

MacGregor swings wildly with an uppercut but Rection uses good head movement to avoid it.
Oh MacGregor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rection breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks MacGregor with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! MacGregor looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. MacGregor get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!
