Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sotamies Ranta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ancient Alien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ancient Alien!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ranta wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ranta displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Alien throws out the jab.
Alien darts in trying to clinch
and Ranta counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Ancient Alien has been cut.
Alien has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ranta throws a hook but Alien blocks it.
A big left from Ranta misses.
Alien looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Alien walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ranta avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ranta fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alien manages to avoid it.
Ranta waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Alien.
Ranta definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Ranta connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Alien avoids the body shot from Ranta.
Ranta smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Alien loads up on a big right hand but Ranta slips the punch.
Ranta misses the jab.
Ranta scores with a jab to the head.
Alien throws an off balance right hand
and Ranta connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ranta cracks a nice hook into Alien's ribs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Alien misses with a body shot.
Ranta shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Sotamies Ranta has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A punch lands to the side of Alien 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Ranta throws a body shot but no joy.
Alien doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Ranta slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Alien is rocked!
Alien misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Ranta counters with a big left hand that crumples Alien! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sotamies Ranta!
An out of breath Sotamies Ranta thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Ancient Alien spoke after the fight, saying 'I will be back, and stronger than ever before!'.
