Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Feltre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Feltre comes to the cage accompanied by Someday Never Comes. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Felipe Feltre!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny White!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Feltre.
Feltre blocks the body kick.
White jabs Feltre right on the nose. Feltre blinks but takes it well.
Feltre stalks White and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into White's face. White staggers backwards, shaken.
White misses with a left hand
and Feltre counters with an inside leg kick.
White connects with the punch.
Good standup being displayed there by Feltre as he connects with a hook.
Feltre throws the kick towards the body but White avoids it.
Feltre misses the shot to the body.
White cracks the inside of Feltre's front leg.
White fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A quick step to the side and Feltre tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Feltre cracks a nice hook into White's ribs.
White darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
White lands a body shot.
Feltre ducks right into an uppercut from White.
White misses the jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from White. Feltre does a little dance to reset his feet.

White dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Feltre. That did some damage!
Feltre throws a nice outside leg kick.
Feltre displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as White throws out the jab.
White lands with a good body shot.
White takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A lazy left from Feltre finds it's target.

White closes the distance and pushes Feltre back into the cage.

Feltre jumps into guard, dragging White to the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

White got a little sloppy there for a moment and Feltre has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, White has managed to get both his arms back between Feltre's legs - danger averted.
White wants to control from the top but Feltre keeps moving.

Feltre is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and White defends well.
White passes Feltre's left leg - he's now in half guard.

White wants to pass to mount but Feltre is defending the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Feltre wants to control but White passes into side.
White cracks Feltre with an elbow. That is naaassty.

White wants to lay and pray for a moment but Feltre keeps working.

Feltre manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

White looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Feltre with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

White is just content to waste time from the top position. Feltre takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells White's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Feltre escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. White gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
White is in close to Feltre's body, working some short punches and elbows.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


White takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Feltre ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
White scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Feltre dips to his left and cracks White with an uppercut!

White scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Feltre doesn't seem bothered though.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
White tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Feltre fails to pull guard.
White lands a left hand that snaps the head of Feltre backwards.
Feltre tries to pull guard but White won't allow it.

Feltre tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. White smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felipe Feltre. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Feltre jabs White to the body, keeping him at a distance.

White pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

White takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
White tries to clinch but Feltre is having none of it.
Feltre fires out a quick counter leg kick but White just manages to avoid it.
White lets loose with a powerful body kick. Feltre will feel that in the morning.
Feltre tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but White was well out of range. Poor timing from Feltre.
White tries to close the distance and clinch up but Feltre swats him away and circles back towards the center.
White throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
White uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Feltre.

Feltre tries to pull guard but White forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Feltre jumps guard and drags White to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

This has been an exciting period of action!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. White connects with a nice short shot to Feltre's temple.

White winds up and cracks Feltre with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Feltre is looking for a sweep. White is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
White wants to lay and pray for a moment but Feltre keeps working.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. White lands a nice short elbow.

Danny White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Feltre has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics White uses from the top position.

White postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Feltre bigstyle! Two more strikes land for White and the fight is over!

Danny White tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
