Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Chimaera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adelbert Gainsborough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chimaera might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Vikings warrior spirit. Gainsborough has chosen Whole Lotta Love as his entrance music. Adelbert Gainsborough has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gainsborough shoots in looking for a takedown. Chimaera tries to sprawl out of it but Gainsborough keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chimaera manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Adelbert Gainsborough seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gainsborough tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gainsborough looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Chimaera!
Gainsborough is looking to take a break and control but Chimaera is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Gainsborough tries for a takedown but Chimaera sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Chimaera counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The Chimaera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adelbert Gainsborough.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gainsborough tries to close the distance and clinch but Chimaera swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gainsborough jabs Chimaera to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Gainsborough throws a head kick that misses.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Chimaera clinches up with Gainsborough and pushes him back against the cage.
Gainsborough escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gainsborough throws a nice looking combination but Chimaera bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gainsborough throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chimaera looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Chimaera is looking to clinch.
Gainsborough replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Chimaera blocks it well.
Chimaera cracks Gainsborough with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Chimaera lands a nice looking body shot.
The fighters circle, before Chimaera throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Gainsborough's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Chimaera lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). The Chimaera!
