Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tycoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Shelton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tycoon comes to the cage accompanied by Monkey Business. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shelton misses with an uppercut. Tycoon saw that one coming.

It seemed like Shelton was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Mike Tycoon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tycoon with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Shelton to score with a decent uppercut.
Shelton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tycoon manages to avoid it.

Tycoon is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Shelton's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Shelton wants to clinch up but Tycoon keeps it at a distance.

Shelton lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Tycoon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shelton manages to avoid it.
Shelton looks to score with a jab to the body but Tycoon is just out of range.

Shelton is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Tycoon had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

The fighters circle momentarily. Tycoon darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tycoon connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shelton. Shelton circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Nice straight punches there by Shelton. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Shelton.

Mike Tycoon's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Shelton lands with an uppercut that bounces Tycoon off the cage and back into range.
Shelton takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Tycoon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shelton manages to avoid it.
Tycoon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Shelton uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tycoon has time to react.

Jeez, Mike Tycoon's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
