Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lucky Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Byron Tipton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Lucky Day has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Byron Tipton!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tipton tries a low kick but Day avoids it.
Tipton has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Day is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Tipton misses with a wild body shot.

Tipton is looking to clinch but Day is avoiding it.
Day keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tipton loads up on a big right hand but Day slips the punch.
Day moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Day throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tipton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Day keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Tipton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Day with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Day with the active half guard here but Tipton passes nicely into side control.

The referee warns Day that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Oh Day is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Byron Tipton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

After the fight, Byron Tipton was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
