Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bluto Braun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bluto Braun has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Braun. Bush does a little dance to reset his feet.
Braun scores with a spinning back kick!
Bush avoids the head kick by Braun.
Bush attempts a counter takedown but Braun avoids it well and moves away.
Bush lands with a cross.
Braun throws a body punch but Bush moves out of range.
Braun uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bush.
Braun moves forwards but Bush connects with a nice, crisp jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bush fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bush has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA LA Elite in the buildup to the fight.
Braun throws a series of punches but Bush moves out of range.

Braun looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Braun misses with a hook.
Braun lands a glancing blow to the side of Bush's head.

It looks like Billy Bush has been cut.
Horrible takedown attempt by Bush or perhaps it was just good defense by Braun, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Bush. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Braun smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Braun cracks Bush with a big right hand and Bush goes down!

Bush is rocked!

Braun is looking to stand up but Bush won't let him.
Oh Bush is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Braun got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bush has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Braun has managed to get both his arms back between Bush's legs - danger averted.
Braun has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bush is proving hard to escape from.
Bush seems to have got his legs back now.
Braun scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Bush is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Braun is aware though and is defending well.

Braun wants to get up but he can't break Bush's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Braun is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Bush has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Braun can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bush has his foot on Braun's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Braun works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Braun tries to stand but Bush is controlling from the bottom.

Bush is looking to cinch up a triangle. Braun throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bush's body to avoid the submission. Bush has instead reached around Braun's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bush arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
