Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shui throws an overhand right that lands on Tipton's shoulder, as Tipton tries to avoid the shot.

Shui fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tipton manages to avoid it.
Shui defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tipton.
Shui throws the left hand but Tipton avoids the punch easily.

The crowd cheers as Shui lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tipton doesn't seem phased though.

Lin Shui is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tipton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shui was well out of range. Poor timing from Tipton.
Tipton looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tipton goes for a double leg but Shui avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Shui continues to drive forward.

Shui misses with a hook. Tipton ducked under it nicely.
Tipton shoots in but no luck this time.
Tipton throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tipton lands a really nice looking cross but Shui seems unphased.

and Tipton counters with a single leg into guard. Shui didn't expect that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tipton got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shui has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tipton has managed to get both his arms back between Shui's legs - danger averted.
Shui looking for a guillotine here but Tipton defends easily.

Shui is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tipton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shui swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Shui not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Tipton won't allow Shui to get back to his feet.
Shui has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Shui tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tipton is looking to work some ground and pound but Shui has wrist control.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tipton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That kick from Shui tenderised Tipton's leg. Tipton is trying to keep his angry face on.
Shui rushes Tipton and presses him up against the cage.

It looks like Byron Tipton has been cut.
Shui throws a knee to the head but misses.
Shui escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Shui pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Shui keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tipton's efforts to push away.
Shui breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Tipton counters with a single leg into guard. Shui didn't expect that.
Shui lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Shui is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Lin Shui showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Byron Tipton's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Shui throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tipton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shui circles away quickly and effectively.
Shui darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Lin Shui seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Tipton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shui looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lin Shui!
Lin Shui decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
