Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Lowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Tauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Max Tauer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tauer moves out of range as Lowe strikes.
Nice shot lands for Lowe.
Tauer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Lowe jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lowe changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Tauer replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Lowe blocks it well.

Lowe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lowe ducks right into an uppercut from Tauer.
Tauer wants to clinch up but Lowe keeps it at a distance.
Lowe tries to land a front kick but Tauer steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Lowe counters with a nice body shot.
Tauer throws a poor cross that misses
and Lowe counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lowe uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tauer has time to react.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lowe.
Lowe throws a solid leg kick but Tauer takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lowe.

Tauer takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Tauer walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lowe checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Lowe prevents a body shot from Tauer.

Lowe has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Tauer is trying to maintain a safe position but Lowe gets an underhook and turns Tauer into the cage.

Tauer throws a right and a left that Lowe avoids nicely.
Lowe wants to land a leg kick but Tauer is out of range.
Lowe pushes Tauer away with a front kick.
Lowe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tauer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lowe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tauer.
Lowe moves out of range of the leg kick from Tauer.
Lowe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tauer does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lowe throws a right and a left that Tauer avoids nicely.
Tauer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A quick step to the side and Lowe tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tauer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lowe swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Tauer throws a body shot but no joy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lowe is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tauer can do to turn this around?

Max Tauer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lowe cracks Tauer with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Tauer tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lowe pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Tauer is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
