Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Caelum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kieran Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dominic Caelum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kieran Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taylor tries to sprawl but Caelum drives through with a takedown into half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Caelum is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Taylor to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Taylor shrugs it off.

Caelum closes the distance and clinches up with Taylor, looking for a takedown. Caelum pushes Taylor against the cage but Taylor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Taylor changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
No luck for Caelum with that takedown attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Caelum controls from within his opponent's guard.
Taylor has momentary wrist control but Caelum slips an elbow through the middle.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Taylor moves in looking to clinch but Caelum pushes him off.

Caelum moves into range and clinches up with Taylor.
Taylor is looking to break free of the clinch but Caelum has double underhooks.

Caelum breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Taylor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Caelum drives through with a takedown into Taylor's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Taylor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Caelum. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dominic Caelum.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Caelum, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
