PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dijoban Totohami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marvin Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dijoban Totohami!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marvin Andrews!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Totohami throws a body kick that misses
and Andrews counters with a two punch combo.

Andrews gets tackled into the cage by Totohami. Totohami maintains the clinch.
Andrews lands a left hand.
Totohami is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Andrews is defending well.
Andrews prevents a body shot from Totohami.
Totohami goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Totohami has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Still in the clinch, Andrews scores with a nice short uppercut.
Andrews pushes Totohami back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Totohami's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Andrews blocks a leg kick.

Andrews has taken the fight to the clinch.

Andrews is trying to trip Totohami. He has hold of a leg but Totohami is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Andrews persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Andrews stands up over Totohami, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Andrews accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Andrews cracks Totohami with a solid left hand.
Andrews is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Andrews stops Totohami from standing up.

Totohami is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Totohami wants to sweep but no luck.

Andrews drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Andrews jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Andrews is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Andrews slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Totohami has momentary wrist control but Andrews slips an elbow through the middle.
Totohami has Andrews pulled in close to control his posture.
Andrews makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Totohami is breathing heavily.
Andrews content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Oh Totohami is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Andrews stays in close to Totohami's body and controls the position.

Andrews drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Andrews as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Totohami screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Andrews! Nice submission victory there!
